Hello guys,

Got a friend who's asking about cases, he wants the usual: Quiet, good airflow and nice design for cables etc.

I'm asking for experience with cases more than anything and what you'd consider is the best for all of those three points.

At the moment he's been looking at: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-100-CS

Which I thought was a good case. But as I have no idea how other cases fair up I thought I'd ask before hand.

For any other suggestions they'd have to be around the same price as the one linked, I do need to ask him what his CPU cooler is really as I don't know if he's got something huge like a Noctua D14 that could compromise anything.

Many Thanks!!! :D

Only thing I've got to say about the bitfenix's is I dunno about the airflow on them. Have you used this case or know of people that have used this case? as he'd like to overclock but would like to have nice airflow to aid in a mild OC of his system, he just generally would like it as quiet as possible.

Well the Ghost is quiet and has sound dampening material on some of the panels.

Both the Ronin and Ghost have open mesh/holes infront of the front fan but the Ghost has a door also, the door has plenty of gaps around it to allow ir into the front.

The Shinobi and ShinobiXL were rather restrictive at the front to maintain the sleek design.

Alright then, thank you for your input. I myself really like the bitfenix cases.

See what he says, I certainly like the design of those cases too. Might have to use one if I do a second build. :D

Edit, also noticed that you are from Weston-Super-Mare, not that far away from you. (random I know)

YOUR BASKET
1 x BitFenix Ghost Silent Tower Case - Black £77.95
1 x BitFenix Ronin Tower Case - Black £69.95
Total : £159.60 (includes shipping : £9.75).

Very nice cases:)

Would you personally choose the Ghost over a Carbide? I know pictures can't really do any case justice, but the Corsair just looks the nicer quality.

That said, there's really little difference visually inside between the two when you compare these two pictures(though the Bitfenix appears to have rubber grommets and not sure if Corsair include any).

Just curious on your experience between the two if you've used both for builds.
