They're no longer using vBulletin. They moved over to Xenforo. Although you could add all those things in the OP to vB.

I'm not saying that from a 'OMG I DON'T WANT CHANGE!' perspective, I just think the way in which the forums are now, has pretty much nailed it.

Certain individuals are '1337ist' enough about how many posts they have, let's not creep into the dark dominion of 'like' and 'rep' whoring too

While there are certainly times that I would like some way to be able to find the right information without having to trawl through threads filled with a lot of fluff, I like the forums mostly as they are.

I'm not really sure a thanking system is necessary, if people want to thank somebody for some advice then they can always just type.

I like the cleanliness of the forum we have, however I do have ideas I would like to see change but they are little things and I am not too bothered.

If I want to thank someone on a forum, I will thank them in writing with a personality with it, rather than a lazy like button or a thanks button which has hardly any meaning.

If you want to know a thread that has lots of "likes", you can tell by the interest and quantity posts within that thread, and threads have star ratings which isn't used unless people really think it is an amazing thread.

"Suggested pokes" is a must. No community can survive without clear guidance on who one should be poking at any given time.

Just little things, like images over the size limit of the rules get automatically resized is one of the main ones I'd like to see. However, I believe the forum software needs to be updated in order for this to happen. So it isn't really a little thing, and if the software was updated, I wouldn't want the forum to change completely, I like it when things change bit by bit so people get used to the change.

Youtube tags in the edit bar thing would be great.
And sig resize sounds good.

Well the servers are all out of sync, perhaps its time for a nuke and new software.

I'd like a feature where a comedy Boxing Glove springs out of the screen and punches anyone who types 'Facebook' here. Or anywhere else on the Internet that isn't Facebook for that matter.
