Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Mine also still says in progress but money was taken last week.

Not bothered tbh as it shouldn't take too long to download with a speed of 6.7MB/s (origin maxes out my connection compared to steam....)
 
Mine states that its completed, so hopefully i get my key 24 hours before release. Still itll be a while before i vet to play it, definitely wont be on the 1st though on my connection.

Battlefield 4 delivery date clarification:

Some customers seem to be worried about the delivery date for Battlefield 4, but rest assured the keys will be arriving in plenty of time, so that customers have enough time to pre-load the game so it is ready for playing at midnight release date.

Our company is bound to the EU release date for the game. Battlefield 4 Release date for Europe: 30th October 2013. We will receive our keys from our distributor on 28th October. Although we'll have all the keys in stock ready to send, we're bound to the EU release date by contract. This means that we are only allowed to release keys to customers 12 hours before the official release date of the game, so you will receive your key approximately mid-day on 29th October. This gives you over 12 hours to pre-load the game, ready for playing at the midnight release date.

EA have VERY strict release date laws, meaning we are not allowed to send keys earlier than this. If we did send them earlier, EA will BAN all of our keys for breaking the Street Date, so we hope our customers can understand that this is a very strict rule which we cannot override.

All of that said, it isn't actually a bad thing. Customers will not be disadvantaged, since all customers will receive the keys 12 hours before the official release date of the game, giving you plenty of time to pre-load ready for playing at the second of release. We understand customers like to receive keys as early as possible, but we cannot send before mid-day, 29th October. All key shops are bound to this rule. All customers will receive their keys on this date regardless of what region they are from. Enjoy!!
 
Not sure why it matters if you get the Key early or not as the game is locked anyway until release. Just sounds like CJS's usual crap to cover the fact they don't have the game yet and to try and stop people moaning tbh.
 
12 hours will help a bit i suppose, though to max out my line speed i have to wait till night time. Bt adsl here, rarely get more than 4mbps on it.
 
Lol at people always slacking CJS while I never had any problems with them and always received keys in time and no weird in progress bs like simply cd keys..

See? Goes both ways.
 
Ho hum. 12gb done and the VPN is still chugging away. Estimated 3 hrs to go.

I'm not going to bother trying to disconnect it again as I must have tried about 15 times now with the same result every time.

true, although they are probably waiting for some stolen CC to buy the keys for their customers ;)

in other news 10gig downloaded 14gig to go, should defo be done before the 1st :p
 
I CAN'T MAKE MY MIND UP :( :( :(

Doing my head in now, didn't really enjoy the beta but love BF3, really not sure I can justify the £60 odd without using VPN and don't know if i'll play it enough to be worth it

I've never had a problem with CJS either and I've used them since they first came about.
