Right, if anyone else manages to BUY (not unlock) it via another countries store using VPN please say so, I've come to the conclusion that they have locked it off and it's no longer possible. I've now tried to do it with the Mexican, Korean and US stores with multiple credit cards and it's not working with any of them.

So please if you manage to buy it from this moment onwards using VPN please speak up !

You should be leaving the VPN before you enter any details all you are doing is adding the stuff to the cart to buy. I'm not surprised if EA has caught on to this if almost all PC gamers are using it.

Bought it from mex origin last night using PayPal. Using some random proxy from a list on the reddit post. Then preloaded via vpngate Korea. So it still worked last night.

I got it from Origin-shop legit,but I used a VPN to get the key and activate it.
