Download windows 8 ISO

Hey folks,

Anyone know where I can get a a Windows 8 (Non pro) ISO from?

I'm not asking for anything illegal, Just need the Windows 8 ISO so I can re-install Windows on my HP laptop which I have installed an SSD too.

I contacted HP,And because the laptop was orig from France, They said they couldn't provide me with the actual restore disk and id have to contact HP France..pay for the restore disk, and also pay for postage to UK. :mad:

I have the windows 8 on the HDD I took out, so I could clone it to the SSD I suppose but wouldn't this not be recommended?

Again,Im not asking for anything illegal here, just a plain windows 8 ISO,I have genuine licence built into the laptops BIOS.

I already downloaded that one and it install's Enterprise eval,not just standard windows 8 which would accept my built in key.

You could try putting the old HDD back in, and follow this to get an iso: http://www.redmondpie.com/download-windows-8-iso-x86-x64-file-directly-from-microsoft/

It installed the Enterprise version after you entered your key?

Dont have a key,Its built into the laptops BIOS...I assumed it would have detected the key and installed the appropriate version and activated but no..enterprise eval.

Windows 8 should still have a key associated with it, if you can boot up windows from the old hard drive still then google Windows 8 product key viewer and note down your key.

You must have downloaded the enterprise evaluation.

Put your old hard disk back in, make an image of the hard disk and then copy that to your SSD.

This should be the most trouble and hassle free way of getting Windows on to your SSD.
