Looks promising, 2nd best looking launch window games after destiny.

Although not sure how well it will go down without a single player campaign to build that bond you need. also how will it be prices considering no campaign?

Will probably go the mass effect route if successfull, and you'll see the next instalment on the ps4 as even ms cant afford to tie up a potential billion $ franchise.

The multiplayer has a campaign element to it, so they're kinda mixing it all together. Also, I think if the multiplayer is good enough the lack of a single player campaign won't matter. I remember I played Call of Duty 4 nearly every day for 6 months before I tried the SP stuff. The MP was just too much fun.

At this point, I'm annoyed it's not on PS4. But I just know after 30 minutes of playing and not being able to literally punch my nemesis in the face, I'd be angry. So it's probably good that I won't get to play it. Saves me from snapping the disc in half.

Don't see the issue or fuss, MS needs some big exclusive titles so they buy them. Meh!

They need something to fill the Gears void or a game they think will draw people in.

Exactly. Sony have their exclusives, so MS need some good ones to compete. It's not rocket science.

But yeah, Microsoft doesn't have a strong first party lineup like Sony, so they need to pay for 3rd Party exclusives to level the playing field a bit.

Meh, personally I find Knack more promising than any of the FPS games coming out anyway so it won't affect my decision to buy a PS4 anyway. Might be because I'm a sucker for old Naughty Dog/Insomniac titles

Shame if I'm honest. Not about the exclusivity, but the fact the devs themselves don't seem to be happy with this. It's a deal hatched by EA.

No they didn't, Vince is till trying to look like hes thinking of "the gamers", BS, simple as, theirs not a chance in hell a deal like that would go through with out him knowing every part of the deal.

And isn't it EA that's given them the finances to even make it!?

Im sure Sony has never once done this...not once...ever.

When did I say Sony hadn't done it? Sony has done it a lot, but this has nothing to do with Sony. I wasn't even pointing the blame at MS but whatever. We can only go on what Vince has said, and he has explicity said it was done with RE knowledge.

I just dont believe this, how does Respawn who own the IP, only recently find out that EA have agreed with MS to make it a full exclusive rather than the vague expectation some had before?

That tweet just doesnt sound credible to me - especially as they dont seem to have PS4 dev kits (from what Ive read), so if they were only expecting it to be a timed exclusive, wouldnt that development need to be already happening?!?
