Had my first proper rage and broke my xbox controller :(

Was in cup final was winning 2-1 70odd min in one of his defenders get sent off so he's down to 10men. 90th min he scores a header because it's completely possible for Lucas to out jump and out muscle Chiellini. That didn't make me lose it, what did though was I went on into extra time 120th min Gomez gets a run 1v1 on the goalkeeper just as I shoot the ref blows the whistle for full time :mad: goes into penalties and of course he wins. I was on seething, he then sends me a msg saying lol lol lol you fail. So my control pad went flying across the room :(

The min the control pad left my hand as I threw it I regretted it instantly :( stupid bloody game.

Goes to sulk in the corner and watch tv.
 
Chiellini is awful in the air I have found, he seems to be pretty poor on the ball too, if he had 70 pace I would use Benatia instead tbh.

I don't have many coins but the best I have found in the air and overall are Kaboul and IF Miranda. Only just got Luiz so need to use him more before I can judge him.

my CB pairings are;

Ogbonna - Chiellini (sentinel on both)

Koscielny - Luiz (sentinel on both)

IF Miranda - Santana (sentinel on both)

Kaboul - Mangala (Sentinel on both)

Pepe (Anchor) - Martinez (Sentinel)

Saving up for Ramos to replace Martinez and Silva for Santana.
 
That's why I said I prefer CB's with decent dribbling/ball control. I use Chiellini but if I get in a sticky situation I just smash the ball away with him instead of trying a controlled way out.
 
Ya he is awful with any kind of ball control but normally... NORMALLY he out muscles and out jumps most people to clear a cross. Getting out jumped and pushed out of the way by Lucas is just a joke. It's not like Lucas was running either this was a standing both jumped for the ball on the spot an Lucas pushes Chiellini out of the way to head it into the goal. It simply should not have happened.

Anyways enough raging going to chill now and consider if it's worth buying a new xbox control pad. XO will be here in 3 weeks so might just wait till I get that now tbh. Although will deffo not be smashing or throwing an XO control pad ! :p
 
442 (2) is the best formation in the game.

--- ST - ST

LM ------- RM

- CDM - CDM

It's basically 4222 but with LM and RM who are a lot faster = better use of wings and more crossing (overpowered headers). They also sit a bit deeper providing better defensive cover.

Basically only one of the CDM's usually ventures forward if you have 2 with dodgy work rates, the other covers, but if they get the ball the other will get back in line quick.

It's brilliant for winning the ball back, brilliant for wing play and with 2 strikers up front you can use a target man and a pacey striker or 2 well rounded strikers, etc giving you more options.

I'm starting to beat players ridiculously with it now 8-2 was my last match.

Oh how I wish you were on Xbox. I'm not the best player on here by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd love to see if you're as good as you say you are.

Saying that, it wouldn't matter. If I were to beat you, you'd just claim banding and handicap.

Dude, I want to play you but I am so tired from work to play right now. I am in surgery all day tomorrow and friday then next week my shift patterns change. I won't be home till 8pm! All I want to do when I come home is eat and have a few drinks.

I am free all weekend.

What team do you want to play against? My full man U team? Dortmond team? Spain team? Bayern team? German team or do you want some Drogba?

I will probably lose but whatever, I can just buy packs to forget my troubles.

you would have to beat me first, only one person ever has, over a best of 3, out of around 15 different people on here.
