Time to post your winter overclocks
So winter temps are finally here! With the cold temps especially in my room (converted attic with no central heating) I've been playing around with my overclock again. This morning when I booted my PC up the CPU was idle @ 15c normally idle @ 30ish and load temps reduced by about 7c.
My CPU while gaming @ 4.6ghz normally hits 72c, with these lovely cold temps I increased to 4.7ghz with NO temp change
The rules
wait for it to be colder in your room/place you're pc is located
Overclock higher than you are already
see how far you can go
*dont go too far and have a melt down I take no responsibility for destroyed parts
*
post about your experience
for those interested I'm in the south east and its got ****ing freezing here
