Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Right guys, looking for a CQ Large server. 48 players min and with default vehicle respawn timings. Any suggestions? All I can find are servers with stupidly fast vehicle respawn times.

I'm trying to decide whether to get this on PC or wait for the PS4 version. Normally I'd go for PC but mine's getting on a bit (Intel i7-920/Nvidia GTX 470) and I'm not sure how well it'll run the game?

Would appreciate hearing back from anyone with a similar spec PC to know how it runs?

Just to answer my question it looks like I'll be getting it on PS4 as from the benchmarks I've seen I think my current rig will struggle to manage 30fps at 1920x1080.

Well i'm all downloaded and patched up ready to go. Night shift tonight then hitting this when I get home in the morning. Sorted my bindings and settings using realmware , trigger finger is exercised and nibbles are in for quick snacking between rounds.

Ready to get back to squading up with you guys over the weekend.

ps. Nexus , kiwi , fozzy etc I have an 8man teamspeak channel if you're interested. You can use it any time if you'd like to jump aboard. Might make things a little easier for everyone

Just had 3 trouble free games on the same server (no lag, rubber banding, server crash, sound dropouts). Hit reg also seems much better. I did notice nearly every other player had decent pings though.

On the negative side, I'm getting sick of continually being killed as soon as I respawn. I was also killed twice when teammates drove small vehicles into walls causing them to immediately explode.

Before I had my 3 trouble free games, I uninstalled Punkbuster from my Programs. Why would I still be allowed to join a server especially when Punkbuster was enabled on it?

dodg3rman, cheers for the offer but I don't have or use a mic. Nexus and Kiwi wouldn't want a player of my standard on their squad anyway! ;)

That was setter talking ballox.

Atleast in the beta - not been able to test full game yet - even though you might be getting a certain framerate with a given CPU it doesn't equate directly to playability. (Also IIRC Setter was talking about getting the most out of a multi GPU setup).

From my experience with the beta an i5 (4/4) can feel a bit bogged down when playing compared to a similiar spec i7 (4/8) even when the framerates are similiar.

True. Usually an act of violence will take place post-Alt + F4

I dare to imagine the acts of rage taking place on peoples desks from this forum later once midnight strikes.

I'm almost resigned to detesting Battlefield 4 already. Hope im proved wrong. Haha, everytime I boot up the game into Battlelog it makes my blood pressure raise a tad
Going to be a late one tonight
