Just played a few rounds and so far the time it takes to get in and out of vehicles is ridiculous and needs patching imo, graphics just look like BF3.5 with some nice touches here and there (I'm running it at 1080p @ Max settings). Framerate is really decent which surprised me, need to give the rest of the maps a go but I'm enjoying it.
Have to say the smoke screen on the boats is disappointing, I thought it would pump out a ton of smoke and you could chug along for a few seconds and leave a thick cloud, in reality its like a less effective version of the tanks smoke from BF3, just one big puff that really doesn't do much for a "smoke screen"
Just played for 6 hours straight and now loving this game
The sound bug is really annoying, but haven't had any problems with rubber banding and I've been on a few different servers with different modes tonight. I have had a few crashes though
32 player is sooooooooooooooo much better! 64 player is a horrible rubber banding/lag mess.
I have pretty much unlocked most things now, only really recon, support (working on now), helis and jets left (won't bother much with the last two or recon though)
Got all the unlocks for the boat, TV missiles are DAMN hard to control! Also they reload a lot quicker but it takes 2 to take a tank etc. out.
Got flashbangs unlocked but tbh I don't know if it is worth bothering with them as generally when people camp, the team will be split in different sections so you can't really go charging in since not everyone will be blinded, only useful when against 1-2 guys.
Tanks are damn awesome especially on zavod, was mostly just using the LMG, one guy was raging and made it his mission to c4 me, he got me twice
Currently I am loving the ace 52 CQB, hard deciding what weapon to use though as they are all really good I find, going to unlock some more stuff for ak5c.
Does anyone else think that the loading screens, scoreboards between matches and even battlelog are designed for a lot lower res? In BF3 everything was sharp. In this its just big!
Played most maps. Wasn't too fond of Operation Locker but that was 64 players so general spam fest need to try it with less. Paracel Storm is great fun and looks/sounds amazing as the storm kicks in, Rogue Transmission good again, some fantastic fights at C point (under the dish) people coming down the hills all around, the Hotel one? which is surrounded by sandy beaches, had a great game last night on conquest everyone stormed the beach was like Omaha landing
Am getting very good framerate avg 80-100, highs in the 140's drops into the 60's and have seen it go into the 50's about 3 times using spec in sig except CPU at 4.4GHz and GPU's not OC! running 1080p ultra w 4xAA post processing low (too blurry otherwise). All that is on all maps EXCEPT siege of shanghai which drops into the high 40's quite regularly and definately seems the most unoptimised map for me.
Enjoying it but as in the beta, I need ammo and the first ammo packs which everyone has are so hard to get hold of. Other than that tonight has just been laggy as hell.
Still can't bind a fair few keys in the retail version....... seriously.... atleast ******* COD gets the basics right. Can't see myself playing this long once ghosts comes out even if I don't like ghosts much.
EDIT: Still loads of bugs just in the UI that were present in the apparently "very early" beta build... given up for the night not gonna deal with this crud before bed.
