Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

bf4 eyefinity probs.

played bf4 in eyefinity 3x 23 inch monitors and looks great.
but soon as i go Multiplayer it looks very Stretched and looks awfull.
any help would be cool thanks.
 
been having the odd issue with Eyefinity where the game will go into windowed mode then back upto full screen several times in a row, right pain in the arse as it seems random as to when it does it.

Check back through the last few pages of this thread - my take on it (thread, not game): opinions divided, some people experiencing a lot of crashes and losing progress, those for whom it works having a blast.

Some people say movement feels odd (running in water odd).

Reading between the lines, generally map opinions seem to be split between mostly-infantry players and mostly-vehicle players as some of the maps are VERY pro-vehicle.
 
Running maxxed out with the system in my sig, no lag, no slowdown, no issues at all in 4 hours of gaming this morning. Worst thing is I really suck, 0.5k/d but then again, i'm always capping, not the stealthiest of players either :D

Yeah I realise there's lots of crashing, but this is typical of battlefield at launch, if you removed that aspect and went on gameplay only, that's the opinion I want, because come one weeks time when the issues are near ironed out, I want to know if it's a game which will keep me occupied until PS4, or another one I spend a few hours on, get fed up and never play it again.

Maps are difficult to gauge I guess, but I'm an infantry player mainly if that helps.
 
I played last night all night and had some good non crash runs and not much lag. The sound issue was a lot better as well, but still not 100%. The lag issue was 100% resolved for me last night. Ill give it another try tonight. But apart from a few things seems like its working ok.

Was on one server and did 4 maps with no crash, then i got kicked off at round change.

Some of the maps are amazing. The one with the islands and the storm weather effects, just awesome. The operation locker is also good fun.

Finally got a stinger missile unlocked on my engineer.. been taking out all the choppers and jets who thought they had it easy. muhahaha

Looking to purchase BF4 + Premium. I really enjoyed BF3 + Premium, but how do you guys think it will run on my laptop? Specs is in my sig. At least I want to get decent/smooth 60fps performance.
 
Mexico? Im assuming theres a dodgy Mexican website that is shifting these then?

Assuming they are not banning people who do this, is it easy enough to install - or are we talking proxies etc?
 
I would not risk buying premium at this stage, see if the standard edition+dlc is worth playing! I ended up buying premium of BF3 by waiting for just a fiver and didn't really miss a thing lol
 
Just a quick heads up for anyone else with the DVD, there is a 700MB patch to download.

Somebody must like me, I'm getting a 1.4MB/s download rate. It is normally about half that on a good day. :D

I'm assuming it is the 64 bit icon I want to use to launch the game (Win 8 64bit)?
