Just found this:
https://tapiriik.com

Upload to Garmin and it can sync to:
- Strava
- Endomondo
- Runkeeper
- Create backups in your Dropbox
- Sportstracks

Free to manually sync or $2 for 1 year auto syncing. Just tried it and it's backed up all my Garmin connect rides to dropbox. :)

I've been using this for a few months now and it's a great little service as you don't have to do anything once set up. I wanted to sync Strava with Runkeeper as the people I run with are all on that. Only thing I forgot was to turn off FB sharing on Runkeeper - it posted about 300 activities on Facebook in about 10 minted on first sync!

I finally found a new (old) saddle to replace my split Royal GT - a Sportex plastic jobbie from the 70's. A bit like the GT but not quite as compliant. Might take a bit of getting used to :p

It's currently on the Bob Jackson while I sort out the bottom bracket on the XB3 and my Brooks is safely tucked away for the winter.

I just hope it's not creating as many duplicates as the contents of my dropbox is implying...

I thought the golden rule was no more than 40mm of spacers under the stem.

I'd agree that the frame in question is too large for the rider. Almost no seat post on show, huge spacer stack and stem rise.

What meter are you using Touch? 200w and 140bpm isn't to be sniffed at!

How does the trainer compare to on the road power wise?

The frame in question is a 54cm I'm 5ft 10 :) it is bordeline as to whther the frame is too small certainly not too large.

If you look at this pic

http://www.flickr.com/photos/46135118@N08/5672421089/in/set-72157626615081316

thats is a image used from the review bike as per the Washington post article here http://www.thewashingmachinepost.net/aszure/review.html, clearly on there is 3 10mm spacers and 2-3 5mm spacers. mine has 5cm of spacers.

I believe its down to the geometry of the bike and design of the front as per the images ive posted before meaning a higher stack is needed, in regard to the seat height that photo was taken when it was built and is not representative of what the seat is now :) there is at least another inch showing at least

the stem rise as well is down to the angle of the fork steerer the stem itself is a planet x 6 degree stem, certainly not one of those 17 degree jobbies :)

anyway as I am worried now lol, just been down and checked my new one alongside the old bike and the measurements are roughly (within a cm or so)the same, 91cm from saddle rail to bottom of crankarm and 61cm from top of steerer to bottom of fork.

I think on the questions raised in this thread though I may take it to another shop and let them give it the once over as I certainly don't want to do a hincapie as posted earlier, the recovery form this broken arm is taking long enough don't want another injury need to get on the bike and get some training in for next years sportives :)

fold is 'sensibly'...

then stuff it in

Thought as much :D I got it packed up small enough to jsut about get in the pocket, but went with my smaller dhb as weather wasn't too bad in the end.

Had a week off this week due to being on standby at work, was nice to get back out this morning even if it was a bit soggy.

What do we reckon to the new Planet X winter bundle? Still worth a go? My current winter gloves are cheap aldi ones from last year that have shrunk a bit, my bbb overshoes are coming apart, I don't have a hat for under my helmet and I usually just wear two pairs of socks when it's really cold... I'd be tempted if the gloves are any good.

Stupidly bargainous. If you use half the stuff then you have got a good deal.

my cadence sensor came off my winter bike today (although its still sticking on the my carbon bike)

what do I replace it with? I know you guys have linked to it several times..

thanks

Just tested out the Joe Blow Sport II pump and wow.. who knew a pump could get me so excited! Haha. I didn't have to use ANY effort to put in 100psi, whereas my cheap Argos jobby (which is the only pump I've used for yearsss) I had to put my whole weight into anything past 50psi and it would just say no to getting to 80psi. Is it sad that I want to deflate my tyres just so I can pump them up again? :D

Get latex tubes and you can pump them up every day ;)
