** The Official Call of Duty: Ghosts (CoD 2013) thread ***

This is ridiculous tbh, why is somebody having to prove he isn't a pirate when the game is clearly out there in the wild and lots of people have got it early.

Using this logic should we all have to post pictures of every game we buy to prove we didn't pirate it, after all it is still possible to pirate a game after it is released.

Which was my point earlier. People has posted in other threads who have got games early and nothing has happened. Which is one reason why I won't post a picture. Ocuk and there double standards hay.

O no. Quick let me get my camera. Like I said, I'm at work anyway if the people post there full mp3 collection along with receipts I will be happy to post a picture. I can't say any fairer than that can I?

So just to be sure, when somebody asks me a question about a game he's seen me playing I am not allowed to reply? Unless it has a picture.
I'm not talking about MP3, I'm talking about Call of Duty. Trying to twist it isn't helping you.

I've had it since Friday. Bought from a shop. I don't care whether or not people believe me. My epenis is not as big as other people on here but I don't care this a digital forum with people who hide behind their keyboard crying because their town / city didn't sell it early. I won't be posting proof. The only pictures I post online are naked ones

Mightly suspicious that the day Soulja began talking about it was the day it was leaked.

Methinks the Console section is going to go the way of the "what did you watch last night" thread.

Are OCUK gonna be facing legal action because someone has played a game early? this is quite ridiculous.

It's not ridiculous in the slightest. OcUK is a business and as such can't be seen to be condoning piracy in the slightest.

What's suspicious about it? It was being sold early in various places. I love Ocuk and the higher power folks :D

Post a photo of you naked holding the game, then you will be suspended anyway. :D

I bet he leaked it, bloody pirate!

Don't forget to buy ink for your printer on the way home so you can print the cover out mate, I don't think a hand drawing will be believable. ;)

There is no reason to suspect piracy in this case though, we know lots of shops have been selling the game early, it's like asking everybody for proof on the day it releases. It would only be suspicious if there was nobody with legitimate copies.

Yes, I know shops sell the game early, and if he has the game legally I have no problems. Talking about games a day or two before release isn't an issue, as we all know several game shops send the game early. However, if you're talking about the game 3 or more days before release (as he was), I would like some proof that the game is legally owned. If it is, surely it's no problem for him to post a picture of it?

I'm going to start a new topic on this soon anyway so people are fully aware of the situation, so let's keep discussions in here on topic please.

Wellthatescalatedquickly.jpg

After reading about it being another rehash with the same rage inducing moments I am glad I don't have i preordered but reading about people playing it I am so tempted to buy it :( I should stay strong though as I don't think there will be many people left playing it on this gen in a few weeks.

Infinity ward have responded to 'Resolutiongate'

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...all-of-duty-ghosts-dev-infinity-ward-responds

Is all that you've just described the reason the Xbox One version is native 720p and the PS4 version is native 1080p?

Mark Rubin: In a way. I don't know if I can point to one particular cause. Early on, we didn't know where exactly the resolution of anything would fall because we didn't have hardware or the software to support it. We tried to focus in on 1080p, and if we felt like we were on borderline of performance somewhere... We tried to make the best decision for each platform that gives you the best-looking game we could get and maintains that 60 frames a second.

There's no specific, oh, well, the VO chat on Xbox took up so much resources that we couldn't do 1080p native. There's no definitive one to one per se cause and effect. It's just an overall thing. We took each system individually and said, 'okay, let's make the best game for each system.'

What everyone will ask is whether this is the result of the Xbox One simply not being as powerful as the PS4, and you're doing your best with the hardware you have, or whether for future versions you may be able to get the Xbox One version running natively at 1080p?

Mark Rubin: It's very possible we can get it to native 1080p. I mean I've seen it working at 1080p native. It's just we couldn't get the frame rate in the neighbourhood we wanted it to be.

And it wasn't a lack of effort. It wasn't that it was like last minute. We had the theoretical hardware for a long time. That's the thing you get pretty quickly and that doesn't change dramatically. It was more about resource allocation. The resource allocation is different on the consoles. That huge web of tangled resources, whether it's threads-based or if it's GPU threads or if it's memory - whatever it is - optimisation is something that could go theoretically on forever.

This sounds even more worrying for XB1 considering they had Microsoft engineers helping them out and they still couldn't hit anything above 720p while maintaining their desired 60FPS.
