A bit of an odd one here, but might anyone have a recommendation for a (preferably) silent analogue watch?
I have various digital watches (some are very smart) but I feel that the analogue watch is the timepiece that looks the smartest when the occasion calls for it.
My preferences are perhaps slightly fussy, as I have excellent hearing and the sound of 'ticking' really annoys me. Budget isn't that much of a concern, but I appreciate that the more expensive models will likely have the better quality movements.
So, over to our connoisseurs - what would thou recommend?

A quartz analogue will (most usually) use a stepper motor to drive a very simple gear train and will usually 'tick' once per second. A spring driven mechanical movement will 'tick' at somewhere between 2.5 & 5Hz.
