Tailored 3 piece suit suggestions in London?

I've got about 6 weddings next year and lots of big events so looking to get a nice 3 piece tailored suit.
I want something well made and fitted. I don't mind spending a few quid, but don't want to splurge on an ultra bespoke Saville Row job, and don't want to get ripped off on a sub-standard made in Asia job.
I guess I'm looking at spending around £750 from a little research.

Does anyone have recommendations for places in London that meet that criteria?

There's a chap who comes over from Hong Kong that does them for exceptional prices and gets rave reviews. I've got the link for him somewhere at home, I'll see if I can dig it up for you.

Other than that, I've found Charles Tyrwhitt three pieces to be very good for semi-tailored suits.

Jesus that website is horrific, a splash entry page (welcome to the 90's) followed by a flash based homepage, I'm not even going to go into the orange on black/blue colour scheme *shudders*. Certainly not a business I'd trust with fashion and style related matters that's for sure.

Big fan of a 3 piece suit :)

Personally I ask for the whole of the vest to be made with the same material as the rest of the suit to avoid the silk back snooker player style look when you take the jacket off as you will have to if you're going to a summer wedding and maybe dancing etc.

Highly recommended yes, but also well above budget for a 3 piece :(

For made to measure at a reasonable price you might want to try...

http://www.cadandthedandy.co.uk/prices - 3 piece for bang on £750
http://www.barringtonayre.co.uk/ - have heard these guys are good for the price as their office isn't in expensive Central London (they visit London for fittings and measuring you up)

ps. Wouldn't go with offshore companies like Raja fashions personally, not enough chances to get fitted which kinda negates the point of MTM. You might as well get a nice off the peg and get it altered.

pps. this looks lovely, you would look miles better than people who turn up wearing their normal business suits at weddings :p

Yeah their terrible web design skills mean they definitely can't cut and sew woolen material very well

I'd be more worried about flashy websites that promise a lot but don't deliver!

It's pretty naive to think that's all there is to it.

That's precisely their websites problem, gimmicky use of flash effects instead of a simple elegant design.

I don't get it, 3 piece suits are the norm in The City. Especially this time of year.
