School kids ringing my doorbell

Be careful on thr CCTV front. If it's simply covering your property and nothing else then fine, but if it's pointing out towards a path or the road then it probably wouldn't be best to use that media!

Just tell the school that they are being a nuisance (and if your CCTV footage is not like the above scenario, I.e. its safe, tell them you have CCTV that could be used to identify them). If that does nothing, escalate it to their parents. If nothing still, inform the police and push for an ASBO on the little sods! :p

What should you do about it? Stand in front of a mirror, put on a flat cap and a cardigan. Then practice the following line "I don't believe it!". Hilarity ensues.

you could get up early and sit at your door, and wait for them, find out what school they are from by the badge on their blazer and make a quick call at their school with the cctv footage on your way to work. Simples :)

Re-wire your doorbell to an electrical source, make sure your doorbell is metal

Watch as the magic happens

No more kids in the morning.

Chase after them.

A group of us knocked on a house once and the guy came after us. He chased us for ages we'd run for a bit, then stop to see if he'd gone, but he kept on coming, freeked us out, thought he was some crazy loon murder. We didnt do his house again.

Like you never done that?

Ive never done it and neither have my mates done anything as childish as this. Do you by any chance think its funny what these kids are doing??, what if someone was sleeping because they worked all night??. I know if that was me, id be seething mad.

OP best thing to do is to inform the school as to what is happening and hopefully they will put a stop to it.

Just be wary of entering the "egg zone" where your house becomes a target rather than just your door. Passive resistance IMO, ignore them.
