*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

is it just me or does the logic board look... a little disappointing?
It's essentially a custom laptop with fairly beefy GPU capability. So that's what it ought to look like! :-)

The simplicity is a good sign. I was a little concerned about overheating, but it seems to be a rather elegant design.

One thing I've noticed with the PS4, it doesn't appear to have any rubber feet for when it's lying flat. Unless the base is like a rubbery non-slip plastic, or you get sticky feet in a bag with the console, surely it's going to move about all over the place on a hard flat surface, or get scuffed up?

Loving the worry in the minute detail :D If you are at all disappointed by any lack of rubber feet maybe you could go buy some from B&Q?

I'm guessing the little white chip on the mobo is the standalone video encoder?

GF still on about buying one for me for xmas... stock is likely to be non-existent around then though.. so do I tell her to preorder it now? :(

I'm still not sold on either console yet, but I'll definitely go with a PS4 if they announce support for my T500rs.

I think they'll add support later on, Sony have always provided good support for third party wheels. I hope the same will apply to my GT2 :).

November pls go

FS! I want mine now lol. I got cod in the post yesterday.

Such a elegant and simple design. Love how the heat sink has a plate covering the entire motherboard preventing dust build up on the motherboard itself. And the fact the heat sink is so small and only uses two heat pipes is amazing.
