Miffed at Youtube.

Strange thing, I only use Chrome in work...try just logging into TY with an incognito window?

The thing is its not like i hate their services, YT is good for what it is, but I think other sites are doing a better job now.
The player seems to be getting worse and worse, loading times for very low quality videos takes to long, im getting a lot of playback errors etc.
 
So people want to use a free service and moan that the person running that free service wants you to have a G+ account.

If those are the rules then you can either set up an account or find somewhere else to get your vids. Moaning wont help but an exodus away to a new service might
 
YouTube is awful. Great site for content, but the site itself is a mess and has been for ages; so many things just don't work as they should. It's by far one of Google's worst products.

The amount of issues this transition to Google+ has caused is ridiculous too, quite well-known YouTubers complaining about it which suggests they didn't really bother consulting their userbase.

Heres the thing, its not a "free" service, Youtube is only as popular as its content, so anyone uploading stuff is "paying" Google by using their site, Google+ doesnt work the same way in that "your personal life" is how you are paying them, your real life, I only use YT as a way to put some tunes I make, not trying to make money of have any adverts or anything, just because its free doesn't mean the users have no rights to complain when something is going wrong with it.

Same, although it was nearly a month or two. It's still rather useless to me.

Personally I'd love to use Vimeo for my videos, but they've taken a stance against gaming related stuff. As they want to be the creative place.

I've gotten use to seeing my nickname and surname on Google, although I shouldn't really need to.

I've been too heavily invested in Gmail and YouTube know, so I just grin and bear it.
 
However comes up with these retarded changes should be executed. Why the hell do I have to click so many times just to get the window size in-between the smallest and biggest window? Why the **** do I have to use ****ty Google+ that no one uses or cares about? Feels like they're forcing me into this, even when i've stated multiple times that I don't want to use my real name.
 
you can unlink your youtube account from google+

there is a setting in youtube and linked accounts.

it allowed me to unlink and delete my google+ account

Said something along the lines of

"over the next few days google will attempt to delete all other accounts associated with google"

Or words to that effect.

Now I have youtube how I want it. No link to google plus and no google plus account.

There was nothing on my g+ account anyway, just a username a black sqaure for a picture and no other information.
