"You have high blood pressure, your kidney and liver functions are also off"

Still waiting on test results, could be dying, but I've stopped drinking quite so much on the weekends, so, you know, that changed.

Thankfully, I'm 'fine' now. I should really add a conclusion

Blimey, I never knew about any of that. You really should add a conclusion.

Did you used to have a different name here?

I wouldn't worry about changing, enjoy what time you have left.

My friend had ulcerative colitis also, now poops in a bag.

He was very overweight and is now underweight. He's picking up and recovering now, looks so much better.
I visited him a lot in hospital over the course of at least 12 weeks. It was horrible seeing what he was going through and glad he recovered as well as he has.
So for seeing what you've had to of gone through, i salute you sir.

Splitting from my wife after she admitted cheating.

I moved out and back in with my parents for 4 months until I had pulled enough money together to rent and furnish a house.

Since the split I have discovered what a joy my kids are, I treasure every single moment with them and will not give that up for anyone or anything.

I am lucky in that I have my kids pretty much half of the time, and the ex doesn't really cause me any problems or issues as such.

The only bad side to all this is that Money can be a real issue, and I find myself in a real no win situation....I stay in my current job and earn enough money to get by, but not have any luxuries etc but it allows me to see the kids as much as I do.

The alternative is to find a better paying job, which would change how much I have the kids, and have the knock on effect of the ex having to change her shifts etc at work.

But yeah, splitting with the wife is definitely the biggest life changing moment, it far overshadows the kids actually being born as an actual life changer.
