I get the feeling, come release and games being played on both consoles, the 1080p vs 720p argument will become moot as I'll bet mostly we can't tell the difference.
Yes some people, and good luck to them as it's their choice, will not want an XBox One because of this and will probably never admit there's little noticeable difference. Me, I intend to have them both.
If I watch a film or TV program in 720p on my TV and then watch a 1080p version I can see little difference if any at all.
When I had my old 360, RIP, and now my PS3 I never once thought "you know what, I really fancy the camera tracking thingamajig" but the XBox One version certainly has tickled my fancy. The content of that video up ↑ that way somewhere has really made me take notice of it. I'm now thinking what will it be like in a few years?
I will say Microsoft have shot themselves in the foot a little as I was just thinking about my PC. It's 3 years old this xmas, all parts bar one thing bought from OcUK, and today I've been playing the new Batman game in 1080p with no issues so really couldn't Microsoft have done a little better now? Saying that as they wanted to include Kinect they obviously made a choice and, if I'm honest, I'd still buy the Kinect version if it was optional.
Someone else said they don't have brand loyalty and I'm the same, except maybe for Kawasaki as most of my bikes have been there's, so if Apple bought out a superb system with loads of games for a price I was prepared to pay then I'd buy it. Same for Google. Same for Alan Smith from 13 Acacia Avenue. I don't care who you are.
There has been a lot of heated debate in here so how about we all focus on a common enemy, if Amstrad made a console now do you think it'd be any good going by their product history?
Peace out mother ****ers.
