**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

I was going to hold off getting any more games but waiting for 35gb to download will be a killer, worst part everyone will be downloading it so its going to hammer the servers, will be picking up another for release day now.

Same reason I decided to get a physical copy of a game I'm interested in other than the one being offered with the console. I wouldn't be able to wait having the console sit there having nothing to play!

For multis like BF4 I'd stick with the PS4 version but that's just me. Anything else on there? What about Dead Rising 3? Looks like its going to be a lot of fun.

It, like DLNA on PS4, will be added in later through an update. Even if they didn't, the 3D hasn't been used on my TV since I bought it.

3D is basic bluray functionality though - MS should put the launch back 6 months IMO rather than launch what is amounting to Xbox360.2.

DLNA not being on the PS4 is an oversight but NOT one of many.

It is funny how refer to the XO as the Xbox 360 Mk2. Both consoles are just the previous gen with more power and some tweaks here and there. :confused:

Even if 3D is 'basic', it's still something that I never will bother with. I can see it properly, and I don't think it's great. The main oversight I find on the XO is only having optical and HDMI out for sound. It isn't a problem for me, but will be for many others.

@pioneer: I think it isn't amazing, but it does give me sickness after about 15-20minutes, which might skew my thoughts a bit :p
 
Annoyed by COD and tempted to get a last minute pre order in so I can play BF4 but the only ones I can find are ones with Fifa and I don't want Fifa. I assume though the free game will just be a download code like you get currently so I could just stick in on the MM.
 
Have I missed something but does every game need to be fully installed ? That is going to munch through the 500Gb quite quick if so....

I haven't read that? :confused:

Hopefully we don't have to and only need every file installed if digital. If we have to, 500Gb shall be burned through :p
