Please post your car and cost to do this distance 60 miles on country lanes and the rest on motorway

Mine is £80 03 BMW 320D sport E46

about £70 In my cab, (Peugeot Partner 1.6 HDi manual )q

tend to do a mix of driving albeit a lot of distance work with some heavy urban in between. average about 550 to a £70-72 fill

Stop/start and harder acceleration Country lanes @ 60MPH returning 48MPG, cruise-control extended Motorway @ 70MPH returning 62MPG currently (done just under 2000 miles so far).

Been thinking...I need a car to pick my daughter up from Manchester every other weekend. A round trip of 540 miles. So 1080 miles per month. The rest of the time the car is sat idle as I ride my motorbike to work. I may use the car the odd time if the weather is really icy but that's about it. My car usage has reduced since getting my motorbike.

I'm starting to think with Tax and insurance cost's and service costs and maintenance cost's I have a lot of money just sat there slowly rotting on the drive.
 
Pretty much bang on £100

330ci - I could easily manage 35mpg on that run, 1.42 a litre for super here at the moment

The little beanbox 107 Probably around £60, worth the extra money absolutely all day long on a journey like that
