** The Official Call of Duty: Ghosts (CoD 2013) thread ***

The maps need a player count of at least 12 v 12.

Yep, 24 players would probably be ideal for the size of these maps.

It might do? Only one way to find out. Wait till the XBONE and PS4 are released with COD.

We'll see but I reckon 9v9 will still make these maps feel too big, as it stands I spend half my time running around trying to find someone and the other half being shot in the back. :p

Yeah I know its bad for that but I tend to stick were there's a high volume of traffic. I end up with like 32 kills to 18 deaths.

Anyone else getting the xb1?

If so are you keeping the 360 version or doing the upgrade deal? I want to upgrade but don't want to limit myself to a small player base that it might have.

I'm getting the x1 but I won't be getting cod for it. Bf4 will be my main mp game. Well that's until titan fall is released.

Ghosts is a poor reason to go next gen imo there seem to be compromises both ways, but an optimised current gen version is better than a next gen that runs like carp. Variable FPS is never a good thing for the netcode.

Dedicated servers might make a difference, but it might be undone by player numbers.

I like whiteout! It's a great map... But who names a gun the Horny Badger?

Someone who has raided the back catalogue and borrowed it from a MW2 Campaign/Spec Ops Infantry Combat Vehicle.

lulwut?

You do know that the engine runs independently from the rendering right? e.g. Well known games like CSS with their underlying server "tick" rates and Street Fighter with a fixed 60hz engine rate regardless of the frame rate.

I've witnessed first hand variable fps in ghosts on the 360.
