I dont get this crap of one console is better than another im getting both as they both have games that I want as for cross platform games All the vids ive seen they look the same to me.

Its so annoying to look at those 'minor' sports that have really good games (Baseball with The Show; Basketball with NBA2K and Ice Hockey with NHL) that seem to improve all the time and we are stuck with FIFA :(; even Madden isnt what it once was...

I think its impossible to judge how the public will react while we are mostly informed consumers. I do think price plays a part, but moreso value for money rather than the top line price.

PS3 was pretty bad, but at least it had BD, I think that was its saving grace as it was an ok priced, very well featured BD player at the time. Sadly its that pricing that put me off it when it came out and I was telling people to get the 360...

I know what you mean, the Show is unbelievable.. the resources Sony give them to develop that and keep it going and improving year on year. Although it is a console seller and I dont mean in huge put a dent in MS numbers... but people do buy the PS3 and will buy the PS4 solely based on the Show, thats crazy, but it is the best sports game out there.

2K is also very good year on year, NHL with EA is probably the best of the EA offerings as well.

I agree its weird, but if you are a Baseball fan then you are setup for life :D

Well those 3 games I mentioned are 3 I would consider picking up even though I dont follow the sports at all - thats a pretty impressive feat.

Wish those specific developers would give a FIFA-beater a try, Ive given up on Konami, they had a whole generation to do it too!

And yes Ive noticed, personally, that baseball fans are scarily devoted to the sport...
