Win8 Tablets

Venue 11 Pro looks sweet and seems to tick all the boxes including a keyboard dock with battery which should be an absolute no-brainer on any tablet that has designs on productivity.

Should be getting reviews in the next week or so I imagine.

I can't help but feel it's over priced compared to the Asus t100 though. Basic spec with the battery keyboard is almost £700 including VAT. Even with the basic keyboard it's still £650, it's almost double the cost of the Asus for something that is very similar spec'ed (screen resolution and possibly build quality). If it under £500 with the keyboard in my opinion it would be a good buy.

Yeah that's a fair comment which I think it's a function of the t100 being excellent value and the Dell being a touch expensive - although I think that with the pricing of the Dell keyboard attachments you'd be mad not to go for the battery dock ($30 extra)

Guess it depends as you say how much you value the increased resolution/battery dock and some of the other features :)

OTOH the Venue 8 Pro is a bargain - $299 for the 64Gb model at the moment!

It's up on Dell UK.... £549 for the Dell Venue 11 Pro?!

*eyes water*

I'm not so sure about this now..

I think Dell is actually selling it for less then the USA?

Price in the USA for the cheapest i3 model is $799 = £499.92

Add VAT (20%) Dell can't do anything about this

= price should be £599.90

But you everyone knows Dell have more sales then DFS. So its always hard to work out the real price, you just have to wait for a deal.

Considering it's up for £186 across the pond, I'm hoping they're going to undercut the nexus 7 32gb, that would put a few noses out of joint.
