I'm pretty sure i'll be waiting until tomorrow now for delivery.
"Ash is currently making delivery number 36, you are delivery number 137."
What's the odds on Ash making 101 deliveries between now 2:14pm and 6pm? I'd say slim to none. When i look at the tracking later what's the betting it will say attempted delivery but no one was home.
There's no way a delivery driver is managing 137 stops in a day. There's got to be something up there. I used to courier a little and 137 is not on the cards. You would be lucky to get it tomorrow if that's how many stops he has to go.

Haha i tell you this now, its not a Nvidia card as im eager to try Mantle with Battlefield 4. That's my main game and will be until BF5.

To be honest I'd hate to say it but neither option seems that attractive to me considering your current setup. A 290 would be a downgrade at roughly a zero net outlay and a 7990 would be a sidegrade at an additional £140.

I'm in the same boat as you Matt, wondering where to go from a single 7970:
- second hand 7970 (theyve gone up in price
- sapphire toxic 280X - better value and new
or lets say my 7970 is worth £200:
- sell it and get a 7990
- sell it and get a 290X
So many options :s
I may be bottlenecked by the 8350, I'm on Pcie2 but board can do dual x16. 750W Seasonic built psu. I have a kuhler 920 I could strap onto a gpu though, and it'd be easier on the newer cards but pointless on crossfire. no games with 290s but gold ticket with the 7000s...
Waiting to see what you've picked.
I don't know why but it seems from a few reviews that the 280X is faster than the 7970 GE, and the 270X faster than the 7870, perhaps they are a little different.

Some 280X's are clocked slightly under 7970ghz speeds and some are clocked slightly over so it depends on the AIB version.

Its the mode i prefer. No hitmarkers, no mini map, no hud, you can kill 4-6 enemies per clip if can shoot accurately. No auto heal on infantry or vehicles, encourages more squad play and teamwork as you need medics, you need repair men etc. Plenty of reasons. Trouble is its much harder to get a good score than on normal as normal holds your hand in many ways.
Hmm fair point. One destination likely has several parcels.
