As title really I haven't played any of the Lego games (bar a tiny bit of the Star Wars first one) and have heard they are supposed to be very good.

So fancy giving them ago I know there are a fair few of them so was wondering which are the better one's to get? From best to worst maybe and I there are any deals on any best place to buy.
Cheers for any info

I have only played the star wars one(1st game) and found it ok not great but for 10$ I think it was worth it.

I see people liked the superman/batman one topped charts for a few weeks.

steam has the LOTR one for 4.99 so if you find the other lego ones cheaper fo for it to see if you like them.

is batman 1 and 2 good?
think i would like the indiana jones and lotro one but not sure on harry potter not a huge fan tbh

Lego Batman 2 had frame rate issues on my PC. I didn't really look in to it to see if it was a common issue or specific to me. My PC was more than capable of running it though.

More humour in the first Batman too.

bought batman 1 and 2,hopefully they have fixed the frame rate issues!

now im trying to fight the temptation of buying the lord of the rings one! haha

the clone wars star wars one is really good, even though I didnt like the later films.

Didn't like the LOTR one as they all speak english and not lego-ish (word?) so wasnt as tongue in cheek

The Indiana Jones ones are my favourite :)
yeah i think i will really enjoy those two gonna keep my eye out and see if i can get them cheap

hmmm will see how i get on with batman i like the videos os lotr and is quite funny hearing say the stuff from the films
I bought the full-pack Star Wars Lego on the back of hearing good things. I really can't tell you how boring I found it :|

may stay away from the star wars stuff then!

and the problems begin!
batman will not run at 1080p without crashing!

any ideas on how i can get this game to run in higher res? anything past 800x 600 crashes the game it will run it in window mode but the window is half the size of my screen if not smaller

I suspect it just isn't my type of game - it was all a bit easy, which meant I was just trawling through level after tedious level to reveal a plot I already knew from the films. And I didn't find the "lol; look at lego Hans" stuff fun for long.

Other people like it, so don't listen to me if it's your sort of thing

If one does see this 3rd post

I have a quick look and all I can find is a patch was out for the batman games to fix this problem and blank screen problems.

SHUT UP AND GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!! :D
I just picked up the LOTR one in the Steam sale myself.

I'd always felt that LEGO had sold out to making movie cash-ins with models that had only five pre-formed parts and thought the games looked like just additional silly, childish cash-ins.
I saw the Steam Sale advert, watched the video trailer just for a laugh... and then had purchased the game within minutes!!

Moreover, I started playing the instant it was downloaded/installed and suddenly almost the whole day had gone!!
Last time a game sucked me in that much was Mass Effect. LEGO LotR really is damn good fun and surprisingly funny if you spot all the little jokes. It helps if you know the LotR film fairly well, though!
