** The Official Call of Duty: Ghosts (CoD 2013) thread ***

As long as you're winning just confirm them when it makes sense, if I see a tag and I know an enemy is close by I'll use it as a retard magnet to lure them out, kill them and then collect them both.

Plus there is always that idiot random who needs to collect every single one of your tags, get's in the way trying to steal it and then you both get killed because you couldn't see **** with him bumping into you constantly.

i will collect everything i see i don't care if somebody has just killed a guy infront of me, if they were moving instead of camping they would shoot and move not shoot and sit in a bush. Either keep running and gunning or play tdm, i can see why people don't move allot tho because the spawning is retarded

I thought it was confirmed that the xbox one version also has frame rate issues?

Edit: just read the post about the review. Must open eyes.

I love the shiny shiny......

I'm not even talking about you there, when you play I leave them for you to collect just to laugh my ass off when you get killed while falling on your arse to explode.

Hmm,
Polygon:
While the Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Ghosts has been confirmed by Activision to run at a lower resolution than its PS4 counterpart (720p upscaled to 1080p native, respectively), that numerical difference is less meaningful than you might imagine.

The two versions look nearly identical. Viewing the Xbox One release next to the PS4 , I had difficulty telling them apart. It's possible that the PS4 version looked somewhat sharper, but that may have just been my imagination after confirming the hard resolution difference. The next-gen releases of Call of Duty: Ghosts are so close together that gun to my head, I'd have no confidence in being able to discern which version was which — at least, while the two are standing still.

IGN:
When comparing the PS4 and Xbox One versions side-by-side, there’s little to no variation in textures and effects, but there is a discernible difference in resolution. While both are displayed at 1080p, the Xbox One version upscales the game from 720p resolution. In contrast, the PS4 version runs natively at 1080p, which makes character models, weapons, and environments look noticeably sharper and more detailed. The difference is especially apparent on larger-sized TVs, where pixel density weighs more heavily in picture quality.

BF4 looks better than COD, let alone Killzone.

Reading that review though and the BF4 review, shouldn't both be rated similarly?

PS4 BF4 has the higher resolution and the better framerate yet scores the same, while Xbox COD has the lower resolution and better framerate yet scores higher than the PS4 version.

No wonder people don't trust these sites when they can't use the same logic across the reviews they do.

You getting any of the next consoles? Your decision pretty much determines which platform I get multiplatform games on!

I'm told that Infinity Ward is working on a patch to correct the performance issues. As our review currently doesn't apply to the PS4 version of the game--I want to play that and the Xbox One version on real multiplayer servers before assigning it a number--I'm going to see if that patch makes its way live this week and see if it helps. Currently, I'd call it a toss up between the Xbox One and PS4 versions--the Xbox One version has a smoother frame rate, but I'd rather play the game on a Dual Shock 4. Getting that frame rate pegged would definitively swing things in the PS4's direction, even over the PC version, which is sort of a mess.

Looks like performance could get fixed for PS4.
