If its a 7990 then he can use a 7950 for tri-fire. Sell a single 7950 to offset cost.

Noway would I side grade to a single 7990 from 2x7950's. I'd maybe just consider a 7990, but I have 3xpce3 lanes that will run 3 cards at x3 8 so another 7950 will be my personal choice..

Other wise I'd get 2x290 non reference cards and look forward to the future..
