My local CEX is good, but if you're only using them for the trade price matching at Game, you don't even need to go in. I just got a list off the website and printed it off, and took it to Game.

cancelled pre orders must have meant you've moved into the delivery day slot then as I got that email just after I placed my order when the Forza edition was announced.

Where the hell am I supposed to put that behemoth of a box now? I simply do not have that much real estate on the stand where the TV goes.. The existing 360 is vertical. As is the PS3.. What a blunder on Microsoft's behalf.. Another minus tag for this console.

This has been known since the reveal months ago, it's designed to sit under your TV with cable/Sat boxes etc

Yup, it's pretty obvious from the design that it's meant to sit horizontally.

I'll have the XB1 and PS4 next to each other under my TV. The TV stand is about 40 inches wide though so they should just fit on

Til you read, that nothing is supposed to sit directly on top of your amp, cos the heat rises.

Whatever way you justify it in your mind, its a stupid design.

Cos for the last 12 yrs, Sony have allowed their console to stand vertically. And for those who have a certain space requirement, which probably runs into the millions upon millions, especially in Japan where space in your living room is a huge issue, then its not so silly is it.

Has there been any info on skynow? I take it there will be a lack of a skyplayer on the xbox1 because of it?

I can see it being quite a big deal for a lot of people. Amp, center speakers, tv boxes and bluray players. You can run out of space very easy.

yep. I have a full sized amp under my pc desk and it can overheat so I'll stick the xbox under it rather than on top of it cos it will go boom if I put it on top. Either that or I'll just plug it in in place of my other 3 consoles under there.

I had a dream about the Xbox One the other night, I was at some sort of reveal event for it, and the thing was the size of about shoe boxes, I remember taking a photo of it and thinking "That'll never fit undermy TV".

There is Sky player coming in Summer 2014 - In the meantime hdmi the old xbox to the new one is the only way to go.
