Tahiti LE

Way too expensive as you can get them brand new with free games for less. There are loads of deals around on 7950 and 7970 cards at the moment. See what OCUK has when this week only get's updated later.

I agree, its too much, crossfire 7870's would still be good, just not at that price.
You can get these for £5 more from a shop which are better

If he got them online why doesn't he DSR them for a refund? The retailer can't refuse. If he bought them over the counter though he's stuffed.

They are good cards that run well; but as people pointed out only have 2 gigs; I'm planning on upgrading mine to 290 at some point soon :)

It runs pretty much everything I throw at it .....:) but at 140; you can cheaper; offer 200 :)

I have one of these Had it for about 6 Months, it runs at 1200 / 1575 - 24/7 @ ~80c Max on a 40% fan profile, which is audible but not loud. (80c is the highest it ever goes, this on Crysis 2 max settings with vSync off)

I'm very impressed with it, the performance is incredible for it money, it plays BF4 on All Ultra + 2x MSAA @ 50+ FPS.

But these days with 7950's going for about the same money they are the better option, with a 384Bit bus they are about 10 to 15% faster, and 3GB of vRam is useful, BF4 is maxing the 2GB on mine out, infact i feel its performance is gimped because of it.

how are the 7950's the same price ? 7950= £200+ 7870 Tahiti LE £140 , is the extra memory worth the extra £60+ for gaming @1080p

They have gone up a bit again :( i would say the 7950 is worth £200, its about 15% faster and i do think the extra GB of vRam will give it better future proofing, 2GB is getting the stage where its not enougth any more, these GPU's have the power to run at settings that will max that in BF4.

The new R9 270 (pre-order £135) is equal to the 7870 in performance, and the 270x (starts @ £147) beats it.

what beats the Tahiti LE's ? , that chart is for the standard 7870
