Spoke to game and was just told

I can confirm this is a launch day console, and we began billing for these consoles on Tuesday, 12/11/13, so you will likely be billed for this shortly.

So yea... anyone after CoD? Thinking of maybe putting it on the MM, I've got the prestige edition and I want to keep the Camera and bracelet but don't want the game and all the extra googies you get, thinking about potentially splitting it on the MM.

I was told next year by ShopTo when they told me it had been delayed, but you're right, no official date has been given yet.

Yep, looks like it was from a complete cold start, though after initial set up.

Still..it didnt feature a spinning grey circle at any point, plus it went stright to a loaded Start menu.

I know it's been delayed but I'm buying everything now so I don't have to worry about extra expense later. Same with Kinect Sports Rivals.

I thought for the Kinect commands to work the XO had to be in standby, rather than fully off?

That probably reduces the boot time slightly.

Next week I believe, so they're doing the same as Sony, lifting the embargo the week the console is released.

Just going by the Majors Vid he posted, but yes it does look like thats how it "stays on" so its open to voice commands all the time.

That's pretty good. I actually timed how long it took for the 360 to boot up not too long ago as it seemed to take AGES. This is what I got:
