Need some help please

Just connecting up my PSE

to my motherboard
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-502-AS

There's one branch of power labelled CPU and it is 2 x 4 pins - sounds fine as the socket on the board is 8 pin.

HOWEVER, the pin layout only matches for one of the 2 units.

They both need to be

Square / Curve
Curve / Square

But the second has 4 curved connectors?

It fits in the socket fine & looks to be wired the same (2 x yellow, 2 x black), so I guess they are actually the same, just different socket?

Am I ok to leave both in place?

TIA

Yes just put them together so as to make 1 x 8 pin and they will go in. They only go in one way anyway. I think they usually have a piece of plastic on the back of each connector which makes them interlock with each other.

that's good to hear.

The surprise was that the 2 4 pin connectors marked "CPU" are different, which they are not supposed to be according to my motherboard connector!
