Yeah chances are we will have to wait until the 6th, still its only 3 weeks away, and it's quicker than i imagined i would get one when only preordering yesterday.

My BD player is a pretty nice one (though a little old).
Not sure the XB will be as good ?
Does the XB do full audio (DTS HD, Dolby True HD etc) as well ?
Does everything a good Blu Ray player can do minus 3D atm!

Someone on AV Forums emailed amazon about the Fifa Bundle, they said they have them in stock for delivery on release day.

Hmmm .. Earlier it said release day, now the description says not on release day. I have just phoned amazon and the guy basically said I should get an email within 24 hours with a despatch date ... so plenty of time to cancel I guess
I had to pay for the one day delivery for my XO to get here on release..... that said it is being delivered to Belgium soooooooooo might be different if you are in the UK. Hopefully mine will arrive on the friday though ! otherwise I shall be getting a postage refund !
To be honest it's hard to take seriously what retailers say, thjey all want your custom and will feed you a load of BS. I've had this numerous times when I've wanted things on release.

On the payment/delivery screen it did say 1st class would be delivered on release day, but that may be a different date for that bundle as Faded said.

The thing is you probably will get it on the 'release day' of that bundle. That doesn't mean to say that the release day is the same as 'launch day' of the XBox One though.

If all your friends are on Xbox Live AND plan to get a XO then it's a no brainer get the XO unless you play mainly single player games.
All this malarky over specs is getting beyond a joke in my opinion. I keep saying it and will continue to say it, it's a console.... if you are really that worried about graphics get a PC and be done with it. Consoles are for a quick easy gaming experience and exclusives. Failing that get both

Problems arise when you prefer the XO games but all your mates are getting PS4 because 'its so powerful' even though they pretty much only play FIFA and CoD anyway.
If all they play are multiplats why not get the cheaper console which has that "powerful" advantage?
Its a problem for me I mean, since i spend a lot of time playing these multi-plat titles with them - but its not the majority of my gaming time so im kinda stuck either playing those games alone and playing the other games I enjoy - or - playing with them and having none (or very little if im optimistic) exclusives to play.
Sorry I did see that thread but as it was called "which will you buy" I thought maybe the discussion could only be based on which you are going to buy and not discussion about it!

I guess you're right. Single player games are great but I have most fun playing with friends. I guess it's a no brainer as you say. Thanks
