**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Getting excited now, day one edition with Forza 5 pre ordered from rainforest when they had it for £429.99. Also Dead Rising 3 coming from gameseek.
Debating whether to trade some old ps3/360 games in to get Ryse or COD at launch too.

With regards to getting a day one edition. I think it was just a special for pre order but I guess some people may be lucky enough to find them knocking about at shops if people have cancelled at the last minute.

I'd wait until next week and see what the reviews are like to be honest, something just looks iffy about Ryse. IGN posted that they'll have reviews coming up for Xbox One games. I'd imagine other sites will as well if IGN isn't your cup of tea.

I have just got of the phone to asda ... they basically have no idea !
I explained that these bundles were new up today, showing stock and we don't have a code so can't buy/pre-order, it seems reading between the lines of the call no-one knows.
Allegedly I should be emailed a code, anytime between now and 29th Nov, but I have no idea how they know (other than the phone call) that anyone wants one !
I won't hold my breath !

Went and traded some old games today and pre paid for Zoo Tycoon so I'm pretty much sorted now for games, Fifa, Dead Rising, Zoo Tycoon and Forza with fifa for xbox 360 to update to either Battlefield or NBA14.
 
Had a sit down chat with the manager from my local Game this afternoon sorted out my bundle :)

It was pre-ordered in May.

Xbox One day one edition, a years xbox live gold, extended warranty, play & charge cable, Man of Steel (Bluray), Forza, Dead Rising 3, Assasins Creed, Fifa & Destiny Beta.

Just need to go in store during the week & pay for it with my trade in credit, all the above will be ready for my collection, seems like they are really organised with the launch!

Will be picking it all up at 8.00am next Friday morning, don't really want to go to the midnight launch and then walk through a town centre at that time in the morning :( going to be a long week but Fridays booked as holiday :)
