Whilst it is annoying, it is their game as much as it is yours so...*shrugs*

Best ting to do is jump in a little bird and rain death on the top of the rooftops.

it wasnt even a official server it was off demize99 i remembered the tag i was amazed id been in games in the past but not able to get the tag
 
Just faced an indestructible tank on Zavod. Hit it 3 times without it taking any damage. I presume he had the reactive armour unlocks. :confused:

I've had a few satisfying moments tonight. I took down a heli from a fair distance with an RPG. As soon as I fired, I knew it was a direct hit. Also, took out a quad bike with RPG as he was trying to road kill me. :)

Game seems to be stable for me bar the odd bit of rubberbanding.
 
When i eventually do get into a game, it's been great today. Every round completing without issue. No crashing and spot on hit reg.
 
I'm finding grenades next to useless. For the 2nd time tonight I've taken down a tree but the 2 enemy soldiers next to it survived. Might change my loadout and try the incendiary. :)
 
once they sort out the fact that a vehicle is not even fun to use in this game, then I'll start playing properly. also have you noticed.. most games I think where the hell are the infantry.. hidden behind bland skyscapers, maybe on top of them or in the many tons of useless vehicles on offer. lol its a joke.

They are far from useless :p Just have a look at some of the battle reports from here/BL :o :p :D

I really like the tank + boat gameplay, helis are fun too but I thought the attack heli flew/handled a heck of a lot better in the beta :(

Jets need to be nerfed though as a pro jet pilot can still turn a match around. Will never happen though :(

I just want to see the good old simple vehicle damage system from bc 2, none of this disabled, critical hit, 2 hits to take out a heli etc. nonsense.........

A lot of "pros"................. run everything on low/turned of, makes it a wee bit easier to spot people + higher min. FPS (extremely vital when in the middle of gunfire, explosions etc.)

I personally run a mix of low, medium, high to get the best performance possible whilst still looking good but not being too distracting.

Game does look good really on Low, since my Cousin got me into ProMod I've always ran on Low. I never notice textures and stuff anyway on Multi, High/Ultra is for Single Player.

My main gripe with people moaning about the Sniper thing is, sooner or later I'm gonna start on Recon to unlock the rifles, which I'm absolute garbage at, so unfortunately i'm going to be one of those nubs sat on a roof in the corner of a map :) and it would be nice if people could just understand.
I'll give it to you an entire team of snipers takes the weewee tho

How I managed so long in a sniper Clan on CoD UO god only knows, i cant hit the side of a bus.

Although leaps and bounds better than mine, his stats don't look any better than others posted on here. Scar 745 kills in 5 hrs is that good? Mines not even a third of that LOL

The ones who are still getting crashes i.e. freeze & sound loop and have to ctrl+alt+del to force close the game.

What GPU are you using? AMD or nvidia?

What are your graphics set too?

I get this too and since the last patch it randomly bombs to desktop (includes just before the end of the map and just after joining a server). :confused:

Equip a red dot sight or even just iron sights and play aggressively, you can actually do really well, most of the time you will get a 1 shot 1 kill on normal as generally the majority will already have very little health (due to lack of medics throwing med packs out + most people playing as engi) or you could play some hardcore where it will always be a 1 shot 1 kill up close regardless of health (I think.....)

Have a look at some of anderzel videos on youtube, he is a pretty good aggressive recon/sniper.


Just had a quick look at the guy stats for bf 4 and bf 3, nothing really stands out, just seems like a decent player. Probably down to the crappy/inconsistent netcode..........

It happens to me on pretty much every map but it is always guaranteed to happen on paracel storm for some reason, too much boat whoring probably :D :p

Reason I ask those two questions as on various forums, people are saying that nvidia users don't seem to have anywhere as many crashes and others are saying that they don't have crashes if they have everything set to low/off.
