In all seriousness, only one crossfire connector is available on a 7990, so only two can be used physically. You could use three but one for be for show...![]()

you can use 4-8 290/290x's, just need to find a mobo for it. though if there is any truth to their 2x290 card, then potentially you might actually be able to jam 4 on a current motherboard which would be.... insane. For non gaming purposes it would seem to make more sense for some compute data centre computer with a custom mobo. Gaming with 4x dual 290x's would be, interesting. Put a 1500w psu for cpu + 2, and another 1000-1200W for the other two.
Old style xfire is limited to 4 gpu's.
