Yeah the hybrid prices are easily affordable. Very impressed with those improvements.
 
I had a play with the new controller at lunch, very impressed. The lengthier palm grips push your thumbs upwards so they're in a much better position. This coupled with the indentations and the improved triggers add up to a huge improvement overall. Well done Sony. :)

There's at least 1 place still selling them for release that I know of but its an ocuk competitor so I can't put it here. It mainly sells pc stuff.

keep looking around, ASDA had an increase in stock so started selling more launch day consoles a few days ago and Tesco were selling some with Knack that i managed to get for launch day ordering this morning so they are still popping up and even if you dont want the game any order will come bundled with chances are you will still pay less then ebay prices and the trade-in/sale values should stay high for a few weeks atleast

Amazon are still offering bundles for delivery before Christmas, but not standalone consoles.
 
I'm Abit stuck on which hard drive I should get, could anyone help please ? Looking for 1tb or maybe 1.5tb unless it's not that much more for a 2tb :)

Is it possible for me to use my 2tb pc hard drive and put the 500gb in my pc?

Is it a desktop or laptop drive? i suppose you could rig something up with sata cable extenders and power extenders if you wanted to some some moola

including fee's and shipping i ended up paying a little bit under retail than i would have over here! and Yeah they both have no issues! I will say one thing, the controllers are a massive step up over the DS3
 
Why anyone would spend all that money on a SSHD to save a few seconds is beyond me, particularly when you consider that is a few more games you have spent there.

The point is that if you're looking to upgrade to 1TB the best solution for both capacity and speed (and cost) would be to buy a hybrid. It's not just about the speed. Hybrids can be bought very cheaply so why wouldn't you go for the capacity and the speed increase over a HDD?
