A new display driver uninstaller DDU.

This has me interested.

When using this am I right what I read so far we dont remove the driver in control panel at all. We boot into safe mode and run from there this program?

In all the times I've used it Nvidia or Ati, I've never had to boot into safe mode. You can select the option to uninstall everything (ATI/NVIDIA) and it even says that the screen may go black while doing so. Then click on return to windows default display that's it!

Works a treat, don't need to touch the control panel either

You may be right there Shankly but I uninstalled drivers first and used it as a clean up tool afterwards. Ive never had to uninstall drivers since I used it but that makes it even better :)

I used this the other day when swapping my 7850 for my 7970, worked really well no issues to date. Cleared the amd folders and all. Thanks

Ive used this a couple of times now and it just works..it doesnt seem to care if its win 8 or win 7 and everything seems to be gone afterwards.. So fare its so much better than Driver Cleaner has ever been in my experience when it comes to AMD/Nvidia drivers.

me neither


  • hardware device manager > right click gpu > uninstall
  • shut down pc
  • new gpu in
  • boot up
  • reboot
  • update drivers
  • done.
