As per title.

Getting a bit 'hippy' as they call it recently and switched most of my shakes (not that I have that many) over to Sunwarrior. Figured if I can get the same kinda macro's as my other shakes and also get some greens in from the Warrior Blend then I might as well.

Anyone else used it before? Costs pretty much the same/similar as most branded proteins also.

Ps. should add, I've been having the Chocolate flavour, can't vouch for the Vanilla... and I'm staying away from the Natural haha

£30 a kg!? Are you having a giraffe?
I'd expect it to come with at least one free vial of test at that price.

LOL I paid £32.95 for a kg and it was the cheapest I could find haha.

I don't have many protein shakes anyways so lasts me quite a while, if you were having quite a few a day it would add up.

**** the bed! That's not even close to the price of your usual branded protein.
I don't mind not being a hippy if it means I can get 2.2kg for £7 less than that.

Damn, what protein do you use then?

If it's myprotein... I hate that stuff. Tried it twice while in University and just hated the sugary taste. Tried a few other friends shakes in different flavours and hated them all haha.

Got mine from play.com, cheapest I've seen so far for this stuff.

What protein do you use then? I only really have a shake or so a day (small shake too), if I need it to hit my macro's.

Edit: Removed the 'txt' speak since it annoys myself reading it back haha

At the moment I've got bags from both GoNutrition(When Psyco Sonny spots this thread I'm sure there'll be a referral code pop up) and The Protein Works.
Both are around £28 for 2.2kg of flavoured whey.

Sugary? (In taste not macro's I mean). I've just really lost my sweet tooth since I was younger and prefer savory.

The protein works is like myprotein right? Maybe less sweet though.

Doesn't taste bad, and to be fair you just chuck it down anyway.

£32 a kilo, LOL.

I have never had a "nice" protein shake: they have all been vile.

They only exist as a macronutrient supply, not something I enjoy, so straight down the hatch.

If I wanted my protein to taste nice, I'd buy a steak.

Robin, you confuse me. You eat 2 chocolate bars for breakfast but fuss over sweet whey shakes.

Damn haha. I love everything I eat and drink. Surely you can find one you like? If you like milkshakes/smoothies find one similar?

Haha nah I don't fuss over them really. Just thought it's an easy way of getting in greens each week and is tasty.

I don't eat chocolate every day haha, very rarely actually since I've not got a big sweet tooth. (I do like cereal, bran flakes, museli etc every breakfast though and I love fruit).

Chocolate is too high in fat for me since my current macro's only allow for 55g. Not had steak in quite a while because of this either (don't like lean steaks, prefer some marbled ones).

Also said a 'bit' hippy haha!

I still eat what I want each day (in my macro's), I just decided to try the Sunwarrior stuff and it's actually really nice so wanted to see if anyone else liked it.

i spoke to the mods and apparently only steedie and his gang are allowed to post referral codes ;)

if he wants one he will have to trust message me :o

I've had the unflavoured, chocolate smooth and strawberry & cream from MP, and I didn't think they were great taste-wise (the unflavoured is horrid)(but like the others, I'll take a hit on the taste if I can buy cheap protein).

I bought the sample pack from GoNutrition just the other week, and now have a 2kg bag of Vanilla and the Triple Chocolate. Taste is great, mixes well, and at £11.50/kg (for a 4kg bag) it's a no-brainer.
