Would you all think 3 gtx 470s in tri sli and water cooled would run it?

Yes (although as now said below V-RAM may be an issue).

I ran bf3 with dual sli 470's, gpu grunt was there but the lack of vram on the cards meant having to lower settings a bit. Bf4 is a good bit more demanding.

I suffered the same issues on my SLi EVGA Hydro Copper 470's hence I moved to the 7990 for BF4. I think you will still have the same issues on BF4 running Tri SLi because the lack of memory is the weak point.
