Martian watches

I quite like the way they look. Guy at work has a Pebble which looks a bit naff tbh - these look OK.

Edit: should add the big problem with smart watches as I see it is the need to recharge. At least these have a separate watch battery for just telling the time that lasts for 2 years.

Edit2: OTOH I'd be a bit reluctant to spend £200+ (or £100+ quid in the OP's case) for a first generation smart watch. There's a lot missing imo from these early models - it'd be good if you could merge the capabilities of a smart watch and something like the Jawbone Up.

I like watches for their simplicity you know...it serves a single purpose that is telling the time.

In a world of complex tablets, ereaders and tv remote controls I quite like the simplicity of a watch.

So basically. not really worth it, even at half price.

I know what you mean.

This is my usual watch when I need to look smart -

It's a Citizen Stiletto, just 5mm thick and 25g. Doesn't tangle on my shirt. :)

I'm thinking of getting this one - http://www.citizenwatch.com/en-us/watches/watch-detail/?model=AR3055-59E#filters=3055-59E
