Just downloaded MusicbBee on mrk's recommendation...anyone know why album art shows correctly in the main window, but in the taskbar I get 'no cover art'?

Rejoice!

Winamp could be saved by Bill and co.
Depends in how you've got MB set to read album art. I spent a whole evening tailoring everything on mine and art shows fine. My covers are embedded into every mp3 or flac file as well btw

MusicBee is the one to use nowBeen using WinAmp for years, since the early 2000s even.
There is a section to edit the column fields in the main window if you click the little buttons toward the top area of the main view hard to describe when i'm nowhere near a windows pc sadly though!Cheers. It randomly started working after I happened to reboot.
Another thing - don't want to turn this thread into a Musicbee support thread, but I can't seem to get the now playing section to display the track's bit rate...any ideas?
High fiveThis. Totally this.
Downloaded it last night on Mrk's recommendation and it's a fantastic bit of software. I can't believe I've been 'making do' with WMP for the last few years![]()
But they're all redundant these days. Phones, tablets, win8 all have built in music apps. Which are more than capable.
What are you, some sort of prophet of ultra modernism? Windows has had media players since the year dot and they've all been found wanting, I've been through at least six iteration of WMP and they've all been crap, which is why most people install 3rd party applications. Like Winamp.
