Do you get an Xmas bonus?

Mrs gets an annual bonus paid at this time of year that is dependent in the performance of the company but is generally equal to a third of her salary.

Pro tip; when calculating maternity leave all payments are taken into account so if your Mrs gets decent bonus then schedule you sweet, sweet lovin' right and it's worth a fortune.

Thats another thing I miss :( all my previous jobs have had ~2 weeks off at Christmas, this one I'm lucky to get 2 days (retail linked). Its suprising how relatively small things like that can have a bigger impact on your quality of life.

I get from Christmas day till 2nd Jan off but even then I need to use 2 of my already poor annual leave days to get it even though the company is completely shut over that period.

Thats a decent wedge.
I'll getting equivalent to 26% of my annual on the 21st December.

That's an awesome tip, and a fantastic bonus!

That's awesome! Is that completely as cash? :)

I'll get about 20 - 25% per year (biannual bonuses, each worth about 10 - 12% of annual salary, half as cash, half as RSUs) plus the gradual vesting of an initial signing on RSU bonus worth about 23% of my annual salary.

I understand that I will pay less tax on the RSUs than I would if it was given to me as cash and my company's shares are very easy to sell, so that's good. :)

Yeah cash all in one payment, I'd spit out the number but you'd be able to work out my salary from it :p

That also sounds like a very good bonus scheme. I'm not really up on the RSU's but I think you are right in that you pay less tax.

I get quarterly bonus which is a percentage of your annual wage and then I get a yearly profit share bonus which is basically 2x your normal wage.

Can't complain at all!

I used to be able to get an Xmas advance.... I could get a up to £800 advanced onto my Nov pay packet and it would be deducted from my Dec pay packet. I get paid last working day of the month and that counts for December too. No Xmas bonus though.

I do get a annual performance based bonus, that’s normally paid around June/July time.
