I've found a 1tb version of this for £50. It's not a hybrid but I don't know if the few seconds of speed gains are worth?

Is this hd any good?

IGN did a comparison test with a normal HDD, a Hybrid and an SSD on a PS4, and for me the performance difference wasn't enough to warrant the cost.

I just went with a Samsung 1TB drive in the end.

Yeah. The number of people I know who have switched ovrer from Xbox plus the usual Sony crowd, is very very surprising.

People who I never assumed would be interested in a new games console are also ordering.

Amazing what happens when big companies listen to what people actually want from them.

Going back a few years, I was firmly in the 360 camp and couldn't get into the PS3. Didn't feel it until the awesome exclusives started dropping and Microsoft seemed to dry theirs up.

Preordered mine in my local game store. They phoned me to ask which bundle I wanted but I've not heard anything since. As far as I know, I'm going into the store on launch day to pay for it and pick it up.

What spec is the standard PS4 hard drive? Im thinking of buying a 1 or 2TB for the PS4 and then using the standard PS4 one in my Macbook Pro (currently 250gb)

Thanks, Was hoping it was 7200rpm but even so it will double capacity of my laptop. Think I will go for a standard 1TB drive for PS4, hybrid doesn't seem to be worth the extra.
