Put an order in with ASDA. My preorder got dispatched on launch day and I ordered it around 4 days before that. They said that it would be 2nd december at the minimum, yet it despatched as soon as they got the next batch of stock in. They also use DPD for the console delivery (although yodel for an extra controller?), which is a bonus.
You're missing the point. It's about having somewhere else to back up a decent save in stages to roll back to. If you have a corrupt save and it pushes to the cloud you are screwed.
Give it time? This has been happening on the 360 for 8 years.
Cloud saves are great as a back up, but it's pointless if it pushes your HDD save to the cloud, the same data. You have effectively still only got one good save.
When I play gears on the 360 each time I log in I alternate between HDD/Mem stick and sometimes cloud. Thsi gives me data to roll back to as so many people have been reset through corrupt saves. The list of games this stuff happens on 360 is long.
Battlefield is just as bad on PS4 by the way, it's just awfully made.

Give it a week. They have just released a patch.
This isn't a cloud issue though... this is yet another Battlefield 4 bug!! I had this too, someone else said this was due to starting the campaign game before the mutliplayer had downloaded - because it couldn't find the Battelog thing.
So yeah... start playing after 10% installed... but if you do, you'll lose it all once it's finished. I don't think EA/DICE hired any testers for Battlefield 4.
Say what you want about COD (and I do) at least it never had these stability issues.
Bugs aside, I am tempted by BF, COD gets more & more underwhelming each year and I've not gone for it this year, but do fancy a bit of variety!
Any ideas how to see recently played people/who you are ingame with? Just had someone nattering on all game during Fifa and just couldn't see how to mute!

Its a problem worth battlefield not your console. Its broken on all platforms. They released a patch in the US yesterday on the ps4 that fixes this issue and a load of others. Usually took a little longer for some patches to hit 360 over ps3 due to Microsoft's policies or something. Try and hold on mate, theres a good game in there somewhere i bet
I wont be buying BF4 on the Xbox but I do have it for the PC. I have had the odd crash and the servers booting players off with restarting but after a few patches BF4 has been behaving.
Once it works its a cracking good game.
I use Skifta on my phone to browse the file on my WHS which then passes it onto the the Xbox One. Not ideal, but atleast one can sit in the lounge and browse away.
I hope the Xbox team do something to make it a better experience.
Well after having my XO for a couple of days now I have to say I really enjoy it. Loving the voice commands they seem to work every time for me I don't need to shout at it either ! Then again I don't have much of a strong accent (from Milton Keynes).
I've only been playing Fifa and a tiny bit of the free KI. Both are really good, although I'm not sure I will purchase KI because I'm not really into fighters that much. Might pick up Dead Rising 3 at the weekend it was going to be a day one purchase for me but.... I dunno why I didn't buy it. Ryse looks good but I don't think I want to pay £45 for a game with an ~6-8hour game. Will prob wait for that to drop in price.
Overally very happy with the console. I really wish they would have put in the Snap Skype feature, hopefully that will come very soon.

I've dabbled with KI, had a couple of matches in the bundled Fifa.
I've played a ton of DR3, I don't what all the fuss was about it looks amazing with a ridiculous amount zombies on screen and has no slow down.
But the game I've been playing the most, albeit in local play, is Powerstar Golf. They've pitched it (get it!) just right and it's probably the best golf game I've played!

Well, spent all evening on my new Xbox last night, and I am impressed with the kinect features and UI in general.. however, annoyingly my X and A buttons are sticking when pressed, as though a glass of coke has been spilt on it (example only! I haven't split any coke on it) - so will contact M$ to hopefully get a replacement.
Furthermore, the gloss effect seems scratched slightly as someone above has also pointed out - very disheartening!
Now, Battlefield 4 - can anyone help?
When playing last night, it was kind of awful. There was lag, graphical issues and what appeared to be major FPS drops in certain places. Has anyone/is anyone experiencing this too?
Finally, can't get chat to work in party - seems to only allow one person to switch on chat and not the rest - again quite annoying - anyone got a fix for this?
Overall, I am happy, but not as thrilled as I thought I would be given the above problems I have now encountered.

My only genuine disappointment with the launch titles on the xbox is the lack of local coop games. I'd have loved to have had at least some decent coop arcade games such as dungeon defenders to play with the mrs. My second controller is currently barely being used due to this
I'd also like to know how the chat works in bf4.

In-game VOIP works fine, but actually joining a party outside the game with friends, seems not to work
