*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Has anyone changed payment details on Amazon?
Unfortunately my bank cancelled the card I used to reorder and reading up about payment methods on Amazon filled me with dred.

Anyway I called up Amazon and got through to a lovely sounding Canadian girl and she helped me change my order and assured me that I will get my PS4 on release day still...

The problem is if I click on My Orders it is saying delivery expected after Christmas! Now she told me it would say that and I even had her email me to say I will still receive it on release day.

Should I be phoning them again to make 100% sure? I've tried but keep getting through to Indian people who haven't got a clue about what I'm trying to explain in regards to changing payment.

tldr:
Changed Amazon payment details. Told would still get on relese. Order now states after Christmas.
 
Just hope I can get a £385 ps4 with game bundle in store with my preorder like they do with the orders online. There was no bundles when I preodered my PS4 and there's no way I'm paying £50+ for a game that's just insane.
 
Just back from game. All paid for and got my ticket.
God!!! that was painful watching him take it to the till scan it and put it in the bag........

Megapack and some sort of pack with stand/charging-station/headset for 25quid

Got my despatch email too, not sure where you got the 2nd December delivery estimate? track number not working yet for me, although my order it says this under completed order "Delivery Method: Standard Delivery - delivered in 2-5 working days"

Hope not lol... better have been sent on a next day delivery service i will be mad!!

Hah - so they get your PS4 and put it in a numbered bag ready and waiting?
 
I didn't pre order mine early so I am getting mine before xmas which would be fine for me , killzone & battlefield are the games I am looking forward to play when it arrives :) will keep checking the thread for when people have there shiny new toy .
 
For anyone with Shop to orders that are still processing,

I paid for my PS4 around the 17th November but also changed my card details by editing them. I have just noticed on my account order page that my order date is the 17th November. I have had my preorder since June.

Has anyone else paid and its showing a different date? :confused:

I actually paid for it on the 13th, they took £1 and credited it back and also too the £348. Do they have an email address or can you only phone them do you know?

Another email from Currys telling me they cancelled the order at my request? I'm pretty sure I didn't request it. Then looked at my account and the game is still there but instead of being canceled it reports delivery will be 3 to 5 days from 29th.

Stop Toying with me Currys you evil barstools. :confused:

I rang ShopTo before as I was worried - I paid for my order manually over a week ago, and the last time I did that was for FIFA 14 in which they charged me again at dispatch... they'd have more chance of catching me running around in the wife's underwear than being able to take another £450 off me the day before pay day.

So I rang em just to check they'd definitely received my payment as I was still on processing and they said yeah everything is fine, it will switch to completed within the next 24 hours.

Still doesn't make me worry any less:D
