I played engineer to get the carbines unlocked ASAP.

As soon as I got the AK 5C i started using that across all classes and getting the unlocks for it. Pretty decent gun, helps that you can use it on all classes too which helps for gaining the unlocks on it.

Quite right, I did play the beta on PC and maxed everything out, had the carbines across all classes, including recon which was decent running and gunning, but having C4 too - should work toward that setup again actually..

Have the M416 now, with very little unlocks.

I'll get there in the end!

Aside from that, do you get many servers in your list? I tend to only get 5 or 6, and often end up getting randomly disconnected too..
 
i played continuously from about 8pm last night to midnight and had it crash once. It has been noted by DICE and a patch is due to fix it.

The server list is pretty small, but I'm putting that down to limited numbers of xbox one players playing multiplayer right now. According to http://bf4stats.com/

There are only currently 8,000 Xbox one players online globally.

Split that into just the European players (maybe 3000 at tops ?) then split those over 64 player servers, and then all the different game modes, its no wonder that you don't have that many populated servers.
 
I had a few good games last night, then it crashed out. Bit laggy as well, but that's my awful connection here at university.

When it works, it's amazing. Quite like that map with flood on it, don't know what its called. Haven't really played many of them, Caspian Border looks awesome on BF4 though, massive great wall you need to blow up to get past to get into the US side now.

Lucky you! I appear to get disconnected/kicked at least every other game! :mad:
 
Trying to start the game but its not letting me, I press the game icon and it comes up with the rainy city image, then immediately goes back to the dashboard after a couple of seconds. Tried restarting the xbox but still the same.

Anyone else experience this?
 
BF4's gameplay is waaaaaaay better than BF3. Graphically it is much more detailed also, that is apparent even on PS3.
 
My premium doesn't work! I've downloaded the 8mb premium patch and claimed my rewards ingame but can't join any second strike servers. Says buy premium again. What's going on? Tried restarting the game and console.
 
Also the ******* crashing is REALLY starting to annoy me now. It's a completely broken game. What the hell are dice doing about it on the xbox one? **** all as it's just ps4 updates...
 
It is stupidly annoying. I managed to actually start my game by ejecting the disc and reinserting it. Ridiculous.

What's all the stuff with Premium not working? I bought it and downloaded the update, I have "Premium" on the top of my menu. I joined a caspian border server yesterday to look at the improvements so I guess mine is working.
 
Mine won't join any of the second assault map servers even though I'm using premium dog tags so it must be working. I can't buy premium again either, so it's just an awful launch tbh. I've got both the premium and crashing bugs so I've uninstalled it. Going to have to wait til it's patched.
 
I haven't even bothered playing this since the weekend; the crashes killed it for me. No way in hell I'm paying for premium... what do you get? Crashes with extra apologies? Pfft.

I think I'll take it back into town in the weekend and try and get a refund as 'not fit for purpose'. I can't finish the single player due to game corruptions and I can't play more than 30mins on MP without the game crashing.
