I'd also be alittle skeptical of getting it a day early, although its possible i think most retailers and couriers will not be delivering / releasing them unitl tomorrow even if you have a tracking number.

well funds have finally been taken this morning by the rainforest for all my ps4 gear and bundle and showing as preparing for dispatch..... finally lol

They will do a big collection. The XB1 wave was done in bulk.

Finally my Amazon order has changed to 'Dispatching Now'

Strangely all my excitement has vanished, and I feel kind of meh... I think I been reading too many console war threads, and nit-picking about resolution/frame rates/detail etc. and I'm a bit jaded.

I'm sure I'll wake up tomorrow feeling different.

I was expecting this, DPD did the same with my Wii U on release. Was on their website as due for delivery on Thursday but it was actually being delivered on release day which was the Friday.

Until you get an email or text confirmation then I don't trust their online system.

Do you have to pre-pay Game store orders to guarantee a launch day console? I pre-ordered mine from the week it was all anounced, but since then I've heard nothing and forgot to bring my slip into work today.

To be honest I would've thought there would be some penalty/fine from Sony if a retailer/courier decides to deliver the consoles before the actual release day!
