I wouldn't disagree. I think what people need to realise is that when I'm in this forum, I look at everything with two hats on. Firstly, I'm a moderator. I will uphold the rules of the forum as best I can, without bias. I dare anyone to find me some moderating decisions I've made that are biased. I'm pretty sure you won't find any.

Secondly, I'm also a gamer, who has opinions and isn't afraid to voice them. My opinions sometimes come across as biased because I defend MS at times. I'm aware of this, but I make no apologies for it because I do like some of what MS are trying with the X1, and I feel it gets a lot of negative reactions from people.

The sad thing is that some people interpret the above as me being an MS fanboy moderator, when they couldn't be further from the truth. I just love games and gaming. I've not had to defend Sony because they've gotten so much right recently, they've not needed defending at all. People just see me defending MS at times and jump to the wrong conclusions. Not a whole lot I can do about that, except to not post at all, and I refuse to do that.

My comment about games was my opinion, I was talking about the past comments being sarcasm.

In that thread afterwards I get labelled as someone who rags on the PS4 for ages, as well as being the most butt hurt poster on the forums. I would have owned one tomorrow if they had not cancelled Drive Club and Watch Dogs. Those types of comments just confuse me.

Take it up with them, rather than picking up my post as ammunition then - as far as Im concerned I failed trying to get them to ignore your post

Its weird I have with a few warrenty repairs and broken on arrival items.

Amazon - Ordered some china pots, arrived smashed, went via returns and ordered new items before I set up the returns, they sent replacments and took broken ones the next day.

Philips coffee machine broke after 9 months, new machine sent with no old one being sent out.

Broken headphones replaced sendt out with a envolope to send the broken ones back free of charge.

Return to store is great if its near you the nearest Apple store for me is a 60 mile trip plus crazy parking costs.

Even if you had purchased the xbox from a store like Tesco/Asda could you walk in and retun or is the repair with MS?
 
My Xbox was bought from Argos online and they have no stock so I thought would be easier for Microsoft to swap the pads. The can do advanced replacements on consoles but won't do it for controllers even tho the adviser said we can do that a couple minutes later she said we cannot do advanced orders on controllers. I said can you not just do a full console replacement she said no .I don't understand how people are getting free games for broken drives yet I cant play with broken pad and I told to take it back to retailer

I think you're a fan of MS, obviously so, it doesn't effect your moderating which is all that matters really.

Also to say Sony haven't needed defending is a bit absurd, people been ****ging them off left right and centre, particularly in launch week, no DLNA. You prefer MS, there is nothing wrong with that its just I find your excuse for every single criticsm whether it be an actual good point or 'i don't really care about that'/'it isn't that big of a deal' is a bit silly.

Granted I don't follow your every post as this thread goes at 100mph with retardation, if you give off an impression there is likely a reason for it though.

Ooook, so all up and running, everything is good, apart that I can't seem to get party chat to work, is that a bug?.

Soooo much is different... we fear change.

Is there a download status for stuff anywhere about the system.

Anyone know what the two hand symbols appearing on the left and right of the screen is for, a kinect gesture I know but what does it do or what's it for?

When I pops up, I try to do as it says, like grabbing the sides I think but I can't really tell.
